On Saturday, October 4th, 2025, we will host “Poetic Films, Dream Poetics”, a conversation between Jackie Wang, poet, scholar, and multimedia artist and Sylvia Schedelbauer, experimental filmmaker.

The evening will take place in our Basement starting at 7:00 PM and will feature a combination of Jackie’s live readings and the screening of three films by Sylvia:

Mother’s Letter (24 min., 2025)
The filmmaker presents the mother’s perspective through family archive materials.

In the Beginning, Woman Was the Sun (17 min., 2022)
A personal tribute to Japanese suffragettes and feminists, and to the inner light we all carry.

Oh, Butterfly! (19 min., 2022)
An imaginary cassette loops a well-known song in self-reflective echoes.

Join us for the first screening in our new space at Corso Novara 39, Turin and discover the exhibition Efemeridi 2013–2025, which will be open throughout the evening!

Sabato 4 ottobre 2025 ospiteremo “Poetic Films, Dream Poetics” una conversazione tra Jackie Wang,poetessa, studiosa e artista multimediale e Sylvia Schedelbauer, regista sperimentale.

Durante la serata che si svolgerà nel nostro Basement a partire dalle ore 19.00, dei momenti di reading di Jackie si alterneranno alle proiezioni di tre film di Sylvia.

Un omaggio personale alle suffragette e femministe giapponesi e al sole che splende dentro di noi.

Una cassetta immaginaria ripete un celebre brano musicale in loop autoriflessivi.
