Queerdirect has curated a spoken word night at ALMANAC in London with contributions by Chloe Filani, Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, rkss (Robin Buckley).
The event will be held and activate Criminal Longing 3, a solo show by Adam Christensen.

Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley is an artist working predominantly in animation and sound, combining the two in a way to communicate their experience and survival as a Black Trans person. Daniel’s work uses sound emphatically to further communicate intense expression as they digitally construct a world that centers Black Trans experience in both design and content. Storing and wanting to restore Black Trans existence they explore the desire to want to meet buried bodies like theirs, dreaming of a Trans archive where Black Trans people could share their buried experiences.

Robin Buckley is a sound artist and musician based in London and their work explores the politics and aesthetics of club culture, technology and queerness.

Chloe Filani is a Black feminist, Poet, Performance artist and Public Speaker. Working with her lived experiences and the broader themes of identity and power structures.
