A new series of podcast episodes organised and hosted by art critic and curator Francesco Tenaglia will explore curatorial and artistic practices focused not only on exhibition making, but also on public programs, workshops, reading groups, civic activism and other forms of community engagement, as well as emerging theoretical and sociopolitical issues.

In the first episode Francesco Tenaglia is in conversation with London-based curator and writer Taylor Le Melle.

Taylor Le Melle writes, organises and produces objects. Recent writing has been featured in catalogues for exhibitions, such as Helen Cammock's Max Mara Prize for Women (2019), as well as monthly periodicals, such as Art Monthly, Flash Art and Cura. As Curator-in-Residence at Wysing Arts Centre, Le Melle organised boundary+gesture, an exhibition featuring artists Aslan Goisum, Derica Shields and Dominique White. As PSS, Le Melle has published artist books by Victoria Sin, Daniella Valz Gen, Rehana Zaman and Imani Robinson. Le Melle is co-director of not/nowhereand together with Rhea Storr and Jennifer Martin they have organised over 50 workshops and events to provide contemporary artists with training in the use of the 16mm film camera and its associated technologies.
